Yorkshire - We need your support to save the tourism sector post Covid-19
Welcome to Yorkshire believe that any recovery plan for the Yorkshire tourism sector needs to be a collaborative one.
There is a thirst for action but there are still more questions than answers as to when and what tourism across the region will look like as the restrictions start to lift and beyond. We would like to therefore invite you to join us to engage in what the future of tourism in the next phase of Covid-19 looks like.
We plan to bring together members, partners and interested parties from across Yorkshire to consider how we can work together on the challenges and opportunities Covid-19 is presenting and develop a combined strategy and plan for recovery.
The first stage in that process is to bring people together to share ideas, concerns and issues, and to discuss what ‘safe tourism’ will look like after Covid-19. We would like to hear from you and will use the information you give us to develop a recovery plan that helps to ensure that in Yorkshire we have a tourism sector that is safe and contributes to the economic recovery of Yorkshire.
We are hosting an online meeting on Wednesday 13th May between 11am and 1pm to begin those discussions.
If you would like to join the meeting and help to create a tourism recovery plan for the whole region please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send details of how to join the meeting and an agenda.
