There is understandably concern about the impact of Covid-19 (the new coronavirus) on tourism and its related businesses here in Yorkshire.

The Government has announced a package of measures to provide support for individuals and businesses to ensure the financial impact of COVID-19 is minimised, including support for retail, hospitality and leisure businesses. All the information on grants, loans and other measures to help businesses can be found here

For advice specific to the tourism industry please click here for the Visit England/Visit Britain site, which has all the latest information on Covid-19 and how Government and its agencies are managing it.

The Government has issued guidance and advice for those providing hotel and other accommodation in the UK.
