We receive regular media requests for details of new accommodation and restaurant openings, celeb hang outs and cutting edge exhibitions. Another favourite is the weekend supplement round up of events, places to stay, things to see and more.

If you have something new happening please tell us, the quirkier the better.

We will then let our media contacts know. Whether it's for a publication requiring a long lead in time - we are often asked "what's happening in six months? What's happening next year?!" - to those last minute "I need it within the next half an hour for an urgent feature!!" - you can be sure if you have sent us your news we will use it wherever we can.

We receive lots of requests from travel writers seeking support with their features. From some who simply ask for content suggestions to those who are visiting Yorkshire and require full itineraries and support with financial aspects such as travel or accommodation costs. 

Our aim is to be helpful, with a strict understanding that we will only support commissioned features and any organisation providing discounted or complementary support, including ourselves, should receive a mention in the resulting article. Of course we cannot guarantee this but the majority of writers we support do try to work with us on this and the results speak for themselves. We have worked with Yorkshire's tourism industry on press visits which have resulted in articles in Country Walking magazine, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph and much more. International media coverage is also extensive and includes Marie Claire Hong Kong, The Business Times Singapore, New Zealand Sunday Herald, and CNN USA.
